Yes, supporting it through QuoteTerm is a nice idea as well.
As of now its just added to reflect the lead time offered by vendor to supply a given item through the quote sent by vendors against respective items. The basic idea here is to allow the purchase user or buyers to negotiate with the vendors by doing a comparative study based on different set of pricing/lead-time offered from different vendors for a given item and then accordingly approve or reject the quotes.
Either ways later we can always try to pass this on to OrderTerm.termDays or InvoiceTerm.termDays.
