That makes sense. Let's wait for Pierre's input, if he has something of this sort ready that can be contributed to OFBiz, we could use it as a base for payment and shipping integration plugins.
Although, the nature and protocol of shipping integrations is different from that of payment integrations. So, I am not sure if one common framework solution would apply to both.
