This is a new feature that did not exist in the old system. You are welcome to implement it yourself. All I did was to fix an old incorrect naming convention.
If you wish to create a "default by user perspective" feature then go ahead and work on it, but then this is not a subtask of migrating from Ant to Gradle so please cut this JIRA from the parent JIRA.
