Scott Gray commented on OFBIZ-7808:
-----------------------------------
I tend to agree with Taher on this, I don't think interactive tasks serve much purpose. Anyone capable of using a command line is familiar with the concept of passing arguments to a command and if the arguments aren't known then textual help should be available. If I do something frequently enough and continuously fail to recall the arguments I need then I create myself a shell script which takes about 1 minute of effort.
I don't think we need to spoon-feed developers with such basic things. This is also why I disagree with the "convenience" downloads for JDBC jars.

> As explained in OFBIZ-7772 and OFBIZ-7773 we want to test the possiblity to add Gradle Interactive tasks using
https://github.com/tkruse/gradle-groovysh-plugin> The idea is to have a good general solution to allow users to not feel a funtional regression with the 3 interactive tasks we had before, namely
> create-component
> create-admin-user-login
> create-tenant and all tasks it depends on
