I think that the approach proposed by Taher, and seconded by Jacques and me, is the one that will provide greatest flexibility to the adopters: rather than dogmatic it looks pragmatic to me.
Anyway, I think you all agree that in some way we are all adopters and/or we work for them and by experience we all know that each adopter is somewhat unique in its preferences and needs, making it extremely difficult to make us all happy.
