Thirded by me. If the history of this project has taught us anything, it's that we can't spend all our time worrying about the ease of migration from previous releases, it literally hamstrings the project because virtually any change can be objected to using this rationale. In order to progress cleanly we need to always focus as if the next release were the first ever.
