For some reason I completely forgot to close this ticket. The update has been done already and I can close this ticket if you're okay with it?

Now with respect to upgrading gradle to a new version, my recommendation is to wait. There is a real problem I'm facing (still thinking about it) to which I created a new JIRA OFBIZ-9972. Upgrading to a newer gradle version would automatically mean breaking the syntax (at least getting a warning and eventually breaking it) for ofbiz server commands.
