I forgot to say that I picked [JJWT|
https://github.com/jwtk/jjwt] to handle the token. [Google API|
https://developers.google.com/gmail/markup/actions/verifying-bearer-tokens] could be used but my experience with their way of "maintaining" their APIs (and products in general) is not "excellent" ;)
