Webtools Find on Credit Card entity fails

Attempting a find operation on cardNumber column fails  to find records (using webtools/entity reference) in the Credit Card entity. Suspect this is related to encrypted values in the column. Find operation should encrypt the value entered in the search field before executing SQL query
