[jira] Created: (OFBIZ-283) Email uses 127.0.0.1

Nicolas Malin (Jira)
Email uses 127.0.0.1
--------------------

                 Key: OFBIZ-283
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-283
Project: OFBiz (The Open for Business Project)
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: ecommerce
         Environment: svn
            Reporter: Daniel Kunkel

If you (in the role of a customer who just received the confirmation e-mail from a purchase) try to click on the product and picture links in the confirmation e-mail, you find that the url specified is 127.0.0.1
For example:
https://127.0.0.1/ecommerce/control/product?product_id=SWIdentiPhiDig
instead of:
https://www.BioWaves.com/ecommerce/control/product?product_id=SWIdentiPhiDig

---

Why this is was entered as a "major" bug...

1.) It should be easy to fix...

2.) Aol.com refuses to deliver any e-mail to any customers with this bug. This just isn't good business.

Thanks, and I apologize in advance if it's just a misconfiguration.

Ahh... The troubles with responding to e-mails one at a time.  Thanks for the info Chris.

However, I believe that this is a good indication that the production document could be improved, either on page 13 when talking about the url.properties or 20, when talking about the content -> website setup for the webstore.

Yes, Jacques if you can close it because I have not the authority on the new jira issue server.
I'm sorry but this issue doesn't need to be move from the old-jira issue.

Thanks
Marco
