While creating a purchase order, If we add product quantity is more then ATP, it shows exceeded quantity get backordered in order items block. This should not be the case in sales order. Also attached screen shot for the same.

I introduced these changes and did not notice that the text "Backordered" should just appear in case of sales order.

Anyhow this should be fixed with your patch in rev. 807946
