In SalesOpportunityStage under webtools it possible to view/edit the stages of a sales opportunity.

The default data entries contain a 'default probabilty. This field cannot be set for new entries, nor can it be modified for existing entries

It seems that it's not a specific problem to SalesOpportunityStage.probabilty but it's common to all fixed-point fields.
