Both the PROJECTMGR and the SCRUM components have functions incorporated to register time spent and review submitted time sheets (approval cycle).

But time registration is also applicable to other areas within OFBiz, e.g. time spent on manufacturing tasks, marketing campaigns, sfa opportunities and even absence of leave (e.g. vacation, sickness).

Separating the time registration and reviewing functions and from the PROJECTMGR and SCRUM components into a new app/component would make that happen. And would be befitting a suite of ESS (Employee Self Service) applications.
