Currently links are rendered differently across menu, screen and form.

We have:
* link in menu-items
* link in screens
* hyperlink in forms, in field definitions
* sub-hyperlink in forms,  in display-entity in field definitions

But how the links are rendered is not consistent. So can link-type="ajax-window" be used to trigger a popup window, while it can't be used in a link in a menu-item.
