In order to let the ofbiz ecommerce shop set itself automatically to the language from the browser, do the following:

[Catalog component]:
[Stores]
Click on Store-ID = 9000
Expand [Localization]
[Default Locale String] + field:   add text: "Leave field blanc for automatic adapation."
