I recently got a message from iso.org about several modifications in geos iso codes. This issue only concerns French changes which are important after some French regions have been unified. Here are the last concerned changes https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#iso:code:3166:FR

I'll send a message to user ML to let know people that there are other changes in other countries.
