language, currency and navigator problem - locale ?

Eric DE MAULDE
Hello,

Installation release.4.0 updated !!!
English Server Debian Located in France

With locales.available=fr,en or not configured,
The language drop-down list provides all defined languages, it's good.
But I can't change the backend language (on different computers and
navigators) !

And in the same Windows XP installation (English version + French locale,
located in France),
for the backend :
English Internet explorer = just French is possible
English Firefox = just English is possible

Moreover, my ecommerce EURO prices don't display in my Firefox navigator
(Product example : Tiny Chrome Widget)

Can we display different language choices between the frontend and the
backend ?

*** See the enclosed pictures

Thanks

Eric

Do you use  -Duser.language=en ?

Did you try to set locale in Firefox ?

It's not set in demo but it should work if you follow the right setps

It works, try (on Ubuntu though) http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBIZ/Alternative+Demo+Servers for instance or
http://demo40.hotwaxmedia.com/ecommerce/control/main
