losing the cart items before login

hai

i am trying to add the cart items before login to the cart after login.but it is seen that the cart of the login user if contains smting before hand it reads only that and looses the data before login.can anyone help me with this pblm.it tis urgent...

I am not sure what exactly you mean. If you mean that a user's cart
becomes empty after login, that is not the case with OOTB OFBiz You can
give it a try at demo.hotwaxmedia.com and see if you can replicate this.

If your OFBiz is customized it is hard to see what exactly you are doing
and difficult to ans your question.

And if it is really urgent, better to hire a experienced ofbiz
developer. You can find a list of OFBiz service providers list somewhere
on wiki.

I think 'auto-save' functionality is disabled in the above link you have given because of which the contents of the cart doesn't get stored for a particular user. So, if he logs out and logs back in, his cart is empty.

I think what the author wants is for the cart items added before logging in (as a guest user) to be added to the cart items which are loaded for the user after logging in from his previous session. (with 'auto-save' enabled, all the cart items added in the user's last logged in session is retrieved back)
