manufacturing application how-to

I am trying to learn more about the manufacturing component before I start using it.  I have found some documention that has helped:

I am trying to create a repeatable task that will use 10 of one product to create 1 of another product.  Does anyone have any other links to manufacturing documentation that I might have missed that would accelerate my learning?

I guess I was more confused with the production run process and what some of the values were for, but I fooled around it and I think I've got it.  Thanks BJ.
