Hi,
Perhaps Scipio ERP is what you are looking for. Scipio ERP is a modern OFBiz fork that comes with modern themes that lend themselves to customization: Project Url: http://www.scipioerp.com Backoffice Demo: https://ce.scipioerp.com/admin (login with admin:scipio) Shop Demo: https://ce.scipioerp.com/shop Theme Documentation: http://www.scipioerp.com/community/developer/views-requests/themes/ We also implemented a templating toolkit, that will make it easier for you to use the standardizes frontend frameworks: http://www.scipioerp.com/community/developer/freemarker-macros/ Scipio is released under the Apache license, so take a look - feedback is appreciated :) Cheers, Paul |

Glad you like it.
For developers we really recommend to checkout the project from git (we got an extensive installation guide written up for you here: http://www.scipioerp.com/community/developer/installation-configuration/). For all others, there are also install packages available here: http://www.scipioerp.com/community/download/ The installers receive updates with every minor or major release. Current version is 1.14.1 (which means that this is the Scipio version 1, compatible to OFBiz trunk version 14, Minor version 1). So the OFBiz version it was based on is 14. I can highly recommend to start with the basic documentation http://www.scipioerp.com/community/developer/, which will also hint you to the core books on ofbiz. Right after you should follow the architecture guide to get an overall understanding of how it fits together: http://www.scipioerp.com/community/developer/architecture/ That should give you an overview over all aspects of the software and prepare you for your own customization efforts. If you have any further questions on that regard, you are more than welcome to join the community forum: http://forum.scipioerp.com/. I personally frequent that one more often and we will gladly help you with your first steps. Cheers, Paul |
