Hi all,
with the migration to the new wiki, I can't access anymore to the pages I created. What should I do or contact to have them back ? How to test : just make a search on "erwan" and try to access one of the 3 that appears. I also started a page on testing, and this one is also not reachable http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/~erwan.de-ferrieres@.../OFBiz+testing+and+QA Thanks in advance, -- Erwan |

Hi Erwan,
This was of my concerns here http://markmail.org/message/jrrth44n44jwfnjw But did you use the same username than on Contegix server when you created your new account on cwiki ? The personal pages are actually personal spaces so I doubt they would
have been migrated since we only transferred the main spaces. I took an html backup of my personal space yesterday which must of been before the redirect was in place. I couldn't see any option to have your own personal space on the Apache instance so I wonder if we shouldn't try to get html backups of every personal space and perhaps make them available in a section of the wiki. I'm sure there is bound to be some good information in some of the personal spaces that we may not want to lose. Hi Jacques,
I haven't created any new account, the old one is still working Cheers, Le 01/12/2009 22:15, Jacques Le Roux a écrit : > Hi Erwan, > > This was of my concerns here http://markmail.org/message/jrrth44n44jwfnjw > But did you use the same username than on Contegix server when you > created your new account on cwiki ? > > Jacques > > From: "Erwan de FERRIERES" <[hidden email]> >> Hi all, >> >> with the migration to the new wiki, I can't access anymore to the >> pages I created. Migration : Yes, I agree, we don't explicitly asked for personal spaces migration :/
Maybe it would be easier to ask every person interested to move his/her page him/herserlf than to bother Contegix? Of course we would have to create a global special spaces if personnal spaces are only intended for committers... It's not as easy as on Contegix server to get a personnal space on cwiki, but it's still possible: you have to ask the infra team for it http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CWIKI/Index#Index-HowdowerequestaCWIKISpace? Some examples : http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/dopeopledirectorysearch.action?searchQueryBean.queryString=&showOnlyPersonal=true But maybe it's only for committers? Note: the limit about CLA does not concern us as long as we don't want to export spaces as our doc (in svn repo or tarballs, etc.) Jacques From: "Scott Gray" <[hidden email]> > The personal pages are actually personal spaces so I doubt they would have been migrated since we only transferred the main > spaces. > > I took an html backup of my personal space yesterday which must of been before the redirect was in place. > > I couldn't see any option to have your own personal space on the Apache instance so I wonder if we shouldn't try to get html > backups of every personal space and perhaps make them available in a section of the wiki. Erwan,
This is not possible, there must be a confusion. You have to create a new account on cwiki (I recommend using same username than before) Jacques From: "Erwan de FERRIERES" <[hidden email]> > Hi Jacques, > > I haven't created any new account, the old one is still working > > Cheers, > > Le 01/12/2009 22:15, Jacques Le Roux a écrit : >> Hi Erwan, >> >> This was of my concerns here http://markmail.org/message/jrrth44n44jwfnjw >> But did you use the same username than on Contegix server when you >> created your new account on cwiki ? >> >> Jacques >> >> From: "Erwan de FERRIERES" <[hidden email]> >>> Hi all, >>> >>> with the migration to the new wiki, I can't access anymore to the >>> pages I created. yeah - we're not going to have Contegix dump all of the personal
spaces for sure. I will work this evening to get the old wiki setup on a new URL so that we can have this accessible to people. The redirects that we put into place earlier today were pretty darn simple and redirected all of the spaces that were migrated. If there was content that wasn't migrated in those spaces, I'd definitely be concerned. http://olddocs.ofbiz.org is available now for people to migrate
personal space information. It will remain available for a few weeks before we shut it down and archive it.
