not able to add to cart if price in INR

Hi ,

Kindly help on below situation.

I have started with demo data and did following

(1) created a New Category and Catalog , and
     added the catalog to Demo e-commerce Store.

(2)  created a new product  in the new category.

If i add pricing in USD the product is  getting added to cart,

if i add pricing in INR its  giving error:

"Could not find a valid price for the product with
ID [10000], not adding to cart."

if i add 2 pricing one in INR and one in USD then only USD
pricing is picked up and product is successfully getting added.

I have changed default currency of store and other entities
from USD to INR where ever i saw.

Hello Rajesh,

Below is the steps to set Order Currency:
1) Login into ordermgr application.
2) Click on Order Entry Tab.
3) Set Customer and Click on continue from the right side.
4) Find a drop down namely "*Set a currency for this order*" to set Order
currency.

Hi Rajesh,

While creating a new order, after adding customer to order, you will see a
screen with title *Enter Order Currency, Agreements, and Ship Dates, *from
here you can set order currency.

Hi Rajesh,

So you are trying to place an order using e-commerce storefront.
In this case, you need to set default currency UOM of store to which
e-commerce website is associated.

https://erp.redgrape.tech/
catalog/control/EditProductStore?productStoreId=9000

Try this link, and under the localization tab, you can change the default
currency UOM of the store.

Will increasing verbosity of logs give clue ? currently the logging level
only
reveals . If it is so kindly guide where to increase the level  ( log4j
config??)

Finally!

 i was able to configure  the instance so that non-USD currency prices
could be added.
However , i will have to  do more iterations from (demo) to find out what
exactly was required
to be done.

Re: not able to add to cart if price in INR

Part of the problem was also the fact that some settings are sticky.
Even if you change config from UI they do not reflect in working unless
you delete cookies and re-initiate a new session.

Eventually i got it working by creating a new store with default currency
as INR.

Roughly the steps were:

(1) A new category was created
(2) a new product was put with INR pricing
(3) A new catalog was added and  category (1) was associated
(4) A new store with default currency INR was created
(5) new Store was linked to existing eCommerce Website
