ofbiz 16.xxx deployment on extternal tomcat

I am trying to deploy ofbiz 16.xx on external tomcat server. Please  suggest
steps to deploy on  serternal tomcat server.

This said we had support for that but it's gone since https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-6195
