ofbiz http://localhost:8080/e-commerce/control/main non-responsive in RedHat linux breeds

exactly what the title says, I have installed ofbiz release 13.07 with openjdk 1.7.0 on centos 7 and fedora 21 as well as fedora 20 all x86_64
i have run
./ant load-extseed
./ant create-admin-user-login
./ant start

ive gone through the setting up of the e-commerce store here at
http://www.hotwaxsystems.com/apache-ofbiz-blog/apache-ofbiz-challenge-set/

and nothing comes up when i goto      
http://localhost:8080/e-commerce/control/main
or 127.0.0.1
or the internal ip 192.168.x.x
or the port forwarded external ip address either
yes i have opened up the ports on the firewall, both on the system and the router

must i run
./ant load-demo
please help this is driving me bonkers

someone really needs to fix the README files which says that the address is

localhost:8080/e-commerce

dear god doesnt anyone ever review the readme files

it is localhost:8080/ecommerce
