sales order creation fail

I am using the demo buyer to buy a product in order entry. Until set option screen is still fine. However it just stuck on that screen, the set billing screen not appear afterward. If I type setBilling screen on the url link, then choose the COD for payment method. It still return me to the setOption screen. Anything wrong? How do I proceed from here? Thanks.

Are you in the order entry of the order component, right?
What is the customer for which you are creating the sales order?

Yes, I am in the order entry of the order component.

I have created a new customer to do the order entry, but failed. Then I use
the DemoBuyer to do the order entry, failed again. Anything wrong with my
process?

For the product I have setup a product name MC100-01, price 15.00, physical
inventory 200 on Demo MyRetail Store.

For the first three tabs (Order Items, Shipping, Options), it works fine.
FYI, the Payment tab Yellow Color do not on. And I stop here, no matter how
I try. I found one error message, when I use "Quick Finalize Order", it asks
me to select a shipping method. Does the process stop because I select Use
Default: No other shipping methods available?

I'm not sure DemoBuyer is a customer, try with DemoCustomer instead.
That will work.

Bad news. the Demo Customer also failed. Anything I need to test? I dun mind
to do the testing as long as I can find the way how it setup and work in the
right way. After I can do the normal sales order, my customization can
start.

I use the updated trunk version. Problem is there is no error shown. It just
stop there.

You are using the OFBiz Physical Retail Store which is not really set up to
take orders from the order manager, it is there for the point of sale app.
You should be using OFBiz E-Commerce Store.

Scott and Jacopo,
I think I find the probably root cause, there is some setting under
product setup to make the order complete. I change the product to GZ-1000
(Tiny Gizmo). Then it can complete the order, though still got some problem.

I will spend sometimes to write some doc on the setup about how to complete
the order. There is some criteria for an inexperienced user like me, need to
know in order to complete the process.

Yes ! The OFBiz Physical Retail Store is intended to be used by the POS
component.

Hi Kane,

You can create the order:
1. Go to Catalog > store > Physical Retail Store > Shipping
2. In that add a shipping method, for test set up "NO Shipping".
3. The when you create the order select the No Shipping method.

You would not get an order and would be able to create order through order entry.

Bad news. the Demo Customer also failed. Anything I need to test? I dun mind
to do the testing as long as I can find the way how it setup and work in the
right way. After I can do the normal sales order, my customization can
start.
