Hello,
I'm running into the following issue in sales tax calculation in the ecommerce app and would like to ask if this is an issue or if a certain setting is responsible for it? In the trunk I've added the demo shop to an existing tax authority and configured the sales tax to be 19%. When the default product price is lower than 25 dollar the tax is shown properly: 19%. But when the default product price is set to 25 dollar or higer than 1% is added, so 20% sales tax is shown. I've tested this with several webshops and products (locally) and the same thing occurs. Does anyone have ideas about what's happening here? Regards, Willem Janssen T: 073 532 74 11 F: 073 532 74 12 M: 06 27 888 464 E: [hidden email] W: www.zchok.nl |
I found out that the reason of these differences in tax calculation is
the fact that: the tax rates defined at Tax Auth Party with ID _NA_ are also taken into account. There are 2 demo data entries with name '1% OFB _NA_ Tax' that are added to the sales tax of another productstore/tax auth party combination. Deleting those entries has the result the tax is calculated correctly. Should I create a jira issue for this?
