It is indeed very complex though as you say, it is likely to be similar in
other countries.

I guess I could ask the question :-

Does Ofbiz inherently support configuration for differing tax regimes? Or
does it just support the regime in the USA?

(I appreciate that it is the individual implementer who is responsible for
ensuring that individual products are setup with the correct tax settings
etc as per local legislation).
