Users - what is the id number

Hi,
I am debugging the application in eclipse.
Can anybody say what is the id number represents for the varibles or objects. For example ,
"ModelEntity modelEntity = (ModelEntity) ec.get(entityName);"
modelEntity shows the tooltip "(org.ofbiz.entity.model.ModelEntity)id=191".
