Users - Usage of PartyRelationships and RoleTypes

Are there specific PartyRelationship/RoleType usage guidelines? I am looking at the following situation:

 

partyCompany: a company

 

partyAgent: member of company authorized to do everything on company’s behalf

    Roles:

            AGENT

            GROUP_ROLLUP (is this one needed)

    Relationships:

            Is it from agent to company, other way, or both?

 

partyEmp1: An employee of company for whom partyAgent has authorization for everything,

    Roles:

            GROUP_ROLLUP

    Relationships:

            Is it from employee to company, other way, or both?

            Is a relationship needed to the agent?
