Users - Mail Issue

Hi .....
         I wantted to use the Tell a Friend option in ecommerce and i have configured the mail settings as explained in the ofbiz ProductionSetupGiude.pdf

 made the following changes in framework/common/config/general.properties files

     # -- mail notifications enabled (Y|N)
mail.notifications.enabled=Y

# -- redirect all mail notifications to this address for testing
#mail.notifications.redirectTo=

# -- the default mail server to use
mail.smtp.relay.host=localhost

# -- SMTP Auth settings
#mail.smtp.auth.user=
#mail.smtp.auth.password=
 but i was unable to use the tellafriend option in ecommerce.
