Users - Physical Inventory Variance

Hi

 

I’m struggling to figure out why both fields (ATP, QOH) are able to be adjusted independently when generally ATP = QOH – orders.  Shouldn’t any variance in physical inventory effect both fields equally? 

 

I would suggest changing the form  to have one field called ‘variance’ and then adjust both ATP & QOH by that qty.  Either that or keep the form the same but instead of a variance have the user log the actual inventory count for either ATP or QOH (users choice but one must be left blank) and then work out the diffs in the service.

 

Any comments?
