The permission is handled on a per-customer basis, this isn't like
allowing a supplier to manage a huge set of products, it's actually
designed for a digital product version of what you're talking about.
That being said, you'd need to do a bit of work to make it fit for
purpose, but then think of the kudos of submitting that back! ;-)
It's not going to be so difficult that it would be easier to roll-your-
own.
Follow best practices for creating a hot-deploy component and you'll be
able to cherry pick what you need.
