Sorry, but since this topic is going on  still...

I am actually considering a new project that will consist of ajax
components that one can use to build a ecommerce site.  To do this, I
would use apache Tapestry.  It's integrated with DOJO and has dozens of
cool components (some not ajax) but such as sortable pagable tables.

I have been using tapestry for 2-3 years now, before then, I was using
struts.  I say the biggest thing going for tapestry is productivity.  I
can produce a richer application experience than a typical MVC
application in half the time.

I also use Tapestry in my own open source application
