is this line still needed in ftl files?

<#if requestAttributes.uiLabelMap?exists><#assign
uiLabelMap = requestAttributes.uiLabelMap></#if>


It breaks the screen the uiLabelMap when using
screens.

This one in particular came from common/webcommon/login.ftl
