hello world

I was looking at the doc's, which have this command:


For Linux/Mac: $ ./gradlew pullAllPluginsSource


which makes me wonder whether perhaps it might not make more sense to
write a "hello world" app which downloads any dependencies as already
built JAR's rather than compiling from source?


Why the need to compile the packages?
