the types of requirement

je
This post was updated on .
hi all
recently I'm confused about the four
 kinds of requirement as follows:
customer requirement
product requirement
internal requirement
work requirement;
I know that product requirement is
 for products that are purchased
from an external suppliers. When this
kind of requirement is approved, it can
be aggregated into a purchase order.
And the internal requirement is for
products that are manufactured internally.
My problem is that what is the customer
requirement and work requirement for?
waiting for your help.
thanks & regards。

These are non mutually exclusive subtypes of a requirement. That means a
requirement from a customer could be for product. A work requirement could
be done in a project by manager.

Re: the types of requirement

Thanks to Deepak Agarwal-2.
So I know that subtypes of a requirement can be changed to another by manager according to your apply, actually I can do the modification on the page. thanks a lot.
but I am also a little confused with the meaning of customer requirement. could you tell me what is the case that I should create a "customer requirement".
I think, when we need more materials, we just entry a purchase order which will turn out to be a requirement. So, when I use the "create a requirement" function?
does it a function only for peoples concerned with manufactory, who don't have rights to do a purchase order? people create the requirement as a propose just like the internal requirement/product requirement purduced by the mrp running, and can be modification and approved by the manager.
Is my supposition right? hope for more replys.

Thanks & regards
