transactional/savepoint support for multiple webservice calls

Hi List ,

Usage Scenario:

Say , we are using web services to run a long batch of data load and
some exception happens , is it possible rollback to original point ?
so that the cleanup before for next loading attempt happens automatically.

basically can transactional scope of backend encompass multiple http
requests ?
