undersun pdf export: WareHouses != Facilities ??

Hi all!, my name is Edson Chavez , i'm a software developer from Peru and i
ofbiz newbie too :D, i testing it as possible wms , i reading the undersun
pdf export and this docs they call facilities but in release 4 this call
warehouse, then: the warehouse are facilities? or: the warehouse now is only
facilities?, is only a name change or a concept change?

sorry if this is a dumb question, but i giving my firts steps and i want
understand well the ofbiz concepts :)

Certainly the persons at the origin of this term could better explain why they choose facility instead of warehouse.
But IMHO they are roughly the same in OFBiz, facility is a wider concept that englobles warehouse.
And yes warehouse are a kind of facility. For instance you may stock products outdoor, etc.

Facilities are covered in the People and Organizations chapter (#2) of
the Data Model Resource Book. If you don't have it, I would suggest
purchasing a copy.

i compare menues and gui in pdf and release 4 i think is only a change name,
now i know i will chek the Data Model Resource Book :)

if you are speaking of the display on the screen that says warehouse
this is part of the translation scheme. as you learn more of ofbiz you
will find how to change these to say what you want.

The entities that are used are called facilities, and have not changed.
As mentioned in other responses, a Warehouse is a type of facility.
