upgrade

Hello,

I want to do an upgrade from release 09.04 to release 11.4 .

Can i just install the new application files or do i have to execute
also a script for a database upgrade? I suppose the xml supports all
new fields and columns in the database tables?

But this does not mean that you will not cross other needed changes (more likely): code, parameters (properties), etc.

Hence the "often updated" trunk strategy...
