uploaded Image Data Resource Type = Short Text ?

Eric DE MAULDE
Hi,

When I upload an image from product content (or category content)
This image data resource type is "Short Text" and not "Image"

Why ?

Can I modify data resource type to "Image" ?

A completely off the cuff guess is because the actual resource is the
url of the uploaded image rather than the image itself.  But even then
I don't think that SHORT_TEXT is the correct type and it's probably a
bug.

Regards
Scott

Eric some clarifcation:
are you speaking about
https://demo904.ofbiz.org/catalog/control/EditCategory?productCategoryId=202
Category Image URL which is the location in ofbiz of the image
or the
Upload Category Image
which is a browser function to upload the image into server memory then
pass the handle to the application to read the stream and save the
image, as a file.
no images to my knowledge are saved in the Database, only reference to
where they reside in ofbiz, like
{ofbiz_home}/framework/images/webapp/images/catalog is where the catalog
images are stored.
