pavan kesar
Dear Community,What version of linux work for OFBiz OOTB.
Is it Fedora or Ubuntu or is it redhat?

Do you recommend the enterprise version of the linux?

Should have no surprises in terms of installation or libraries available on
the version of linux.
Should have no surprises on MySQL version being used
Should have the OFBiz community support.

What is recommended hardware configuration for 50 concurrent users (total
250 users)?
What is recommended hardware configuration for 50 concurrent users (total
250 users) for Windows server.

Thanks a lot
Pavan.

All should work but you need to use a Sun 1.5+ jdk

Not needed

Most stable recent versions are recommended (for instance Ubuntu 8.04)

We recommend Postgres (because of timestamp limitation in MySQL)

I will also recommend CentOS 5. I have worked on CentOS for about 2
years and didn't see any single issue.
Now a days working on Ubuntu 8.04 :-)
