Hello all,
Most of the documentation for Ofbiz seems to be geared for developing. The
evaluator-facing canvas is "Great for building a custom system, or, maybe
you can use it right of the box". Well, I'd like to see how it works right
out of the box, but I'm finding the (lack of) user documentation to be.
astonishing.
Could someone please explain the workeffort application and its use?
Also, maybe a bug ?
I make a new project named test1,
<click phases button>
I make 3 phases
<click tasks button>
To make a task, I must select a parent phase. The select box only contains
phases from other projects(the demo ones) but not the phases I just created
for the current project. It seems like the phase selector should only
contain phases related to the current project. So, (same screen) I add
another phase with the 'Add Phase' box on the right. The new phase name is
then preloaded into the new task name box, it's given the same sequence
number and description(none of that makes sense), and the parent phase is
preloaded with the new phase name. I click the 'add' button to save and
receive an error message complaining about no 'role_type_iD'. It then gives
me another role type selector that is as inoperative as was the one on the
original 'add task' box. Also, how do you remove (delete) a task or a phase?
Am I missing something?
