HI

Is there is an ofbiz Accounting implementation where Accounting is the
backend for a third Application?

Regards,
Fernando

I think that the answer is yes but perhaps if you could add some details
about what you are thinking of doing, you might attract some specific
comments.

Ron,

Certainly, the need is to have the accounting backend (a la Sage) where
an application will send its transactions.

The application (php) will build its own menu to query the FI module(s)
to have a single UI.
I know that accounting transactions can be sent to SAge (or other
accounting SW) but in this case it will be the reserve mode.

The transactions exchange could be SOA or xml or csv... for the
inter-app-link

Fernando

as with any application, in ofbiz, you can complete replace them.that is a process best covered in a document.you can interface to external accounting apps, like quickbooks, which is another route.
