Active Directory Integration

Wicus
Hi,

Is OFBiz @ present configurable to authenticate users via a Windows Domain Controller (via Active Directory) ?...

Or does one have to tinker at the code?...

I'm totally lost at present and would appreciate any "clear" directions on the path to take forward.

We do intend on using Linux to replace Microsoft in due time to act as a Domain Controller for all the Windows XP client machines, yet at present we wish not to "upset" the users with passwords etc too much.

Thanks in advance.

In reply to this post by Wicus
ofbiz is java based and is not connected to windows, parse.
There has been work on active directory but has not been implemented
fully yet.
I am not sure of any web based application that uses domain controller
login on the internet.

any thing related to windows would have to be custom.
