Hi All:
Just a quick announcement that I hope won't ruffle too many feathers: I'm going to give away at least one copy of the new OFBiz Cookbook that I authored for Packt at ApacheCon2010 this year. (That is if the ASF doesn't find a way to stop me.) I'll have a drawing at my talk (1:00pm on Wed) that anyone who attends can enter. At the end of the session I'll draw a name from those entered and give away the book. No strings attached except you've gotta stay for my talk :-) If you're interested, I've done an opinion piece about the book, Packt and this give-away here: http://www.myofbiz.com/control/blog/RuthHoffman. [Unfortunately, I haven't got the comments part of the blog working yet and I'm pretty busy with a paying customer right now...but maybe by show time I'll have that fixed and we can start a discussion about the book.] Hopefully see some of you there! Regards, Ruth Hoffman |
Hi Ruth - congratulations on finishing the book! Another welcome
addition to the ofbiz suite of documentation! Congratulations Ruth,
I will buy the book but i am afraid there will be again a lot of taxes on it when entering Europe. I hope the price will not double at the end as it does with some books of Amazon.com. There are no other ways to pay and receive the book , i think? Regards, Heidi 2010/9/16 chris snow <[hidden email]> > Hi Ruth - congratulations on finishing the book! Hi Heidi:
I don't have any control over the pricing or distribution. Sorry. It is available directly from packt as an ebook, if that helps. I got
it in both ebook and paper formats, but I'm still waiting for paper. -- Matt Warnock <[hidden email]> RidgeCrest Herbals, Inc. Hello guys,
I have one coupon question. Do you guys know if there is a way to set a promo so it "cannot be combined with other offers? I want to issue two coupons, and don't want user to use two coupons for one order. Thank you so much for in advance. Regards, Vicky |
Hi Vicky,
If you have more than two coupons and wanted to apply the only one coupon at a time, then this functionality is not available out-of-the-box you will have to customize the code to apply only one coupon at a time. Hi Mukesh,
Thanks a lot for your answer. From your answer, now I know what we currently support. Probably I'll customize it later. On page 258 you are talking about Delegator.findList(). It says: "The delegator.findList() method returns a Java List or null if no values are found". This is not correct. It returns an empty list if no values are found - see EntityListIterator.getCompleteList(). I'm quite happy about this behavior, so it's not necessary to always check for null.
