I haven't seen any mention of this, but I may have missed a message or
issue - barcodes are not being displayed in fop output. I don't know the real fix, but if anyone is looking at this problem: If you move barcode4j-fop-ext-0.93.jar from "framework/webapp/lib/" to "framework/base/lib/" (where the fop jar is), it will work. You can also replace the old jar with the latest barcode4j fop-ext-complete jar (added to "framework/base/lib/"), and it will work. -Joe smime.p7s (3K) Download Attachment |
Thanks Joe,
there is an ongoing discussion in the user lists but you are right, I have tested it and it works! I am going to commit this in a few minutes. Thanks Jacopo,
I hope this changes should also go in release branch. barcodes are not working in the release branch, so this can be
definitely be considered a bug fix: unfortunately that commit, 769500, is not enough and we will also need at least 769030 and I think also 768339, 768459, 768545, 768633, 768634, 768635, 768640 I don't have time to test if this commit will work fine in the release branch, if someone can help it would be great... the other option is to revert the fop upgrade in the release branch. Hi Jacopo,
I commited your change at r769691, following your advice I also commited r769030 at r769695 as it's enough for barcodes to work in R9.04 I have also updated the "Libraries Included in OFBiz" page in Wiki Jacques From: "Jacopo Cappellato" <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Wednesday, April 29, 2009 8:55 AM Subject: Re: Barcodes > barcodes are not working in the release branch, so this can be definitely be considered a bug fix: unfortunately that commit, > 769500, is not enough and we will also need at least 769030 and I think also 768339, 768459, 768545, 768633, 768634, 768635, > 768640 > > I don't have time to test if this commit will work fine in the release branch, if someone can help it would be great... the other > option is to revert the fop upgrade in the release branch. > > Jacopo > > > > On Apr 29, 2009, at 7:28 AM, Divesh Dutta wrote: > >> Thanks Jacopo, >> >> I hope this changes should also go in release branch. >> >> Divesh >> >> Jacopo Cappellato wrote: >>> Thanks Joe, >>> >>> committed in rev. 769500 >>> >>> Jacopo >>> >>> On Apr 28, 2009, at 8:55 PM, Jacopo Cappellato wrote: >>> >>>> Thanks Joe, >>>> >>>> there is an ongoing discussion in the user lists but you are right, I have tested it and it works! >>>> >>>> I am going to commit this in a few minutes. >>>> >>>> Jacopo >>>> >>>> >>>> On Apr 28, 2009, at 7:59 PM, Joe Eckard wrote: >>>> >>>>> I haven't seen any mention of this, but I may have missed a message or issue - barcodes are not being displayed in fop >>>>> output. >>>>> >>>>> I don't know the real fix, but if anyone is looking at this problem: >>>>> >>>>> If you move barcode4j-fop-ext-0.93.jar from "framework/webapp/ lib/" to "framework/base/lib/" (where the fop jar is), it will >>>>> work. The only additional thing you would need for the release branch is the
xml-apis-ext jar.
