Hi Jacopo and all !
+1 for this plan. I intend to contribute a sample of POI datasheet export (new simple handler). I will start to work on it this week-end :) Thanks Gil On 28/10/2016 15:03, Jacopo Cappellato wrote: > Thank you all for the feedback! > No rush, we can postpone the creation of the branch to the second week of > November and maybe we could start the vote for the release during the third > week of November... we may be able to announce the new release (in memory > of Adrian) during ApacheCon (that would be nice!) > > Jacopo > > On Fri, Oct 28, 2016 at 12:44 PM, Taher Alkhateeb < > [hidden email]> wrote: > >> Hi Jacques, >> >> No I did not try to clear the caches, but that is a good point, perhaps >> clearing would work. Hurrah,
a few seconds ago, in rev. 1770141, I have created our new release branch: http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/branches/release16.11/ We can now work together at testing it and preparing for the release vote. Yes - it's OK for me. It's been a long time since our last release so it would be good to get something out before the year end if possible. Right Sharan,
I also agree, I can't think at anything crucial pending, a vote should clarify. BTW we should try to release more often than once a year as we already discussed, 6 months seems good to me. I must say a lot of changes have occurred this year, and that's great to see :) Jacques Le 21/11/2016 à 15:59, Sharan Foga a écrit : > Hi Jacopo > > Yes - it's OK for me. Yeah I'd also rather release after the massive changes we applied to have
