When you wrote this message the first time I went to the demo and
found that any time I pressed on the "Lookup Party" button no records where listed even if all the fields where empty. (so the bug was present) Then I clicked on the "Show all records" button and everithing started working fine. So something strange should be there. -Bruno 2009/3/12 CJay Horton <[hidden email]>: > This appears to be resolved on demo site now. > > TY! > > On Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 4:44 AM, Jacques Le Roux < > [hidden email]> wrote: > >> Forget it, did not look at subject... >> >> Jacques >> >> From: "Jacques Le Roux" <[hidden email]> >> >> Works well on alternate server (also one of my local instances) >>> >>> Please give more information, at least : where (which server), R.r >>> (Release.revision) >>> >>> Jacques >>> >>> From: "cjhorton" <[hidden email]> >>> >>>> >>>> Party Manager search options always returns the following: >>>> >>>> Search Results >>>> No parties found. >>>> >>>> -- >>>> View this message in context: >>>> http://www.nabble.com/Demo-Error%3A-https%3A--demo.hotwaxmedia.com-partymgr-control-findparty-tp22465146p22465146.html >>>> Sent from the OFBiz - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. >>>> >>>> >>> >> > |

Please Radhakrishna create a new thread and do not hack an existing thread when you send a new message (new subject)
I think you are looking for something like http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/XxQ You may be interesed by http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/r#OFBizContributorsBestPractices-DeprecatingEntities also (and the topic at large) Note that actually in OFBiz jargon (actually concepts) we don't speak of a DB table but an entity... If not already done, be sure to check http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/bgI also Jacques From: "Radhakrishna Kotakonda" <[hidden email]> > Hi All, > > I would like to create a new DB table in the Database. > What are the steps do I follow to fullfill ofbiz requirements? > > Advance thanx > > Have a nice day, > Radhakrishna > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Jacques Le Roux [mailto:[hidden email]] > Sent: 12 March 2009 09:44 > To: [hidden email] > Subject: Re: Demo Error: > https://demo.hotwaxmedia.com/partymgr/control/findparty > > Forget it, did not look at subject... > > Jacques > > From: "Jacques Le Roux" <[hidden email]> >> Works well on alternate server (also one of my local instances) >> >> Please give more information, at least : where (which server), R.r >> (Release.revision) >> >> Jacques >> >> From: "cjhorton" <[hidden email]> >>> >>> Party Manager search options always returns the following: >>> >>> Search Results >>> No parties found. >>> >>> -- >>> View this message in context: >>> http://www.nabble.com/Demo-Error%3A-https%3A--demo.hotwaxmedia.com-pa >>> rtymgr-control-findparty-tp22465146p22465146.html >>> Sent from the OFBiz - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. >>> >> > > > > Some stuff you should know (otherwise known as a disclaimer): > > The information in this message is confidential and may be legally privileged. I must admit, I also experienced this, but only on official demo server...
From time to time weird things happen there. Because it's not easy for us, who don't have a direct access, to check what is going on. We need to ask contegix people to look at it for us. This said, they are always very quick to help us and very efficient! In one word : we need more clues. Anybody had a look at the log (we can access it from webtools) ? Thanks Kumaraswamy,
But I don't think Radhakrishna is looking for something to learn OFBiz... Moreover, even it for this tutorial it's ok, remember Opentaps is not OFBiz, there are significant differences now Jacques From: "Kumaraswamy nandipati" <[hidden email]> > You can also follow > > http://www.opensourcestrategies.com/ofbiz/hello_world3.php with pictorial > representation. > > All the best. > -- > Thanks, > Kumaraswamy.N > 91-9866805250. > > > On Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 4:40 PM, Jacques Le Roux < > [hidden email]> wrote: > >> Please Radhakrishna create a new thread and do not hack an existing thread >> when you send a new message (new subject) >> >> I think you are looking for something like http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/XxQ >> >> You may be interesed by >> http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/r#OFBizContributorsBestPractices-DeprecatingEntitiesalso (and the topic at large) >> >> Note that actually in OFBiz jargon (actually concepts) we don't speak of a >> DB table but an entity... >> >> If not already done, be sure to check http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/bgI also >> >> Jacques >> >> >> From: "Radhakrishna Kotakonda" <[hidden email]> >> >> Hi All, >>> >>> I would like to create a new DB table in the Database. >>> What are the steps do I follow to fullfill ofbiz requirements? >>> >>> Advance thanx >>> >>> Have a nice day, >>> Radhakrishna >>> >>> >>> -----Original Message----- >>> From: Jacques Le Roux [mailto:[hidden email]] >>> Sent: 12 March 2009 09:44 >>> To: [hidden email] >>> Subject: Re: Demo Error: >>> https://demo.hotwaxmedia.com/partymgr/control/findparty >>> >>> Forget it, did not look at subject... >>> >>> Jacques >>> >>> From: "Jacques Le Roux" <[hidden email]> >>> >>>> Works well on alternate server (also one of my local instances) >>>> >>>> Please give more information, at least : where (which server), R.r >>>> (Release.revision) >>>> >>>> Jacques >>>> >>>> From: "cjhorton" <[hidden email]> >>>> >>>>> >>>>> Party Manager search options always returns the following: >>>>> >>>>> Search Results >>>>> No parties found. >>>>> >>>>> -- >>>>> View this message in context: >>>>> http://www.nabble.com/Demo-Error%3A-https%3A--demo.hotwaxmedia.com-pa >>>>> rtymgr-control-findparty-tp22465146p22465146.html >>>>> Sent from the OFBiz - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. >>>>> >>>>> >>>> >>> >>> >>> Some stuff you should know (otherwise known as a disclaimer): >>> >>> The information in this message is confidential and may be legally >>> privileged.
