Demo Server

Scott Gray-2
This is mostly for Jacques and Hans,  I have access to the demo server now and can start helping out as soon as I have time.  Could one of you give me a run down on the layout of the instance and how things are working at the moment?

Ideally I'd like to get a document up in confluence describing how everything works on the instance so that in the future anyone can pick the ball up and run with it.

Thanks
Scott

Welcome Scott,

Your help will be appreciated :o)

Most of them are files saved by users using OFBiz.
I left them there as they are harmless and maybe useful for those users, obviously some are using Windows ;o)

Not sure for selenium-server.jar
As you certainly know I tuned startofbiz.sh

I have no ideas about googlecheckout, Hans?

Jacques

None of those files are needed for Windows users. Most of those files
look like artifacts that are left from bad commits.

I think that Jacques was saying that the files have been created by users of the demo server during their experiments with OFBiz (e.g. exporting files, importing content records etc...)

Yes, I know. I just don't care. They are harmless and we would have to clean them up again I'm quite sure (I mean some other persons
will create them again...)

Thank you for the clarification. It looked to me like Scott was listing

Right, just re-reading Adrian's message I see "bad commits" which is not related at all

Yes, but how to told them, they put them where they want in the (demo) server, and as they don't care (and have no ideas actually)
they finish at root....

OK, please enough of that ;o)
