Dev - ASF Incubation - status updates and proposals

Hi all,

here are some misc proposals and updates about the ASF Incubation:

1) UPDATE: intellectual property (licence change): I'm reviewing the old
CVS commit logs and extracting from them the people who contributed to
OFBiz; I'll need some time to complete this task since the commit log
file is 172826 lines long (!) and at the moment I've reviewed the first
50422 lines; in the meantime, David is contacting by mail the already
discovered contributors to ask them to kindly sign the iCLA; you can see
the status of this effort here

2) UPDATE/PROPOSAL: the committers accounts have been all created,
except for the one for Si Chen: Si maybe it is a good idea to re-send
your iCLA to the ASF (?). Unfortunately it's difficult to keep track of
the iCLA filed by the ASF since our names are no more listed here
http://people.apache.org/~jim/committers.html (I think it is somewhat
related to the new accounts creation... we have now account but still no
project); David W.: could you grant us commit access to the (empty)
OFBiz SVN tree? Maybe this will solve this problem...

3) PROPOSAL: I think that it is important to move at least the mail
traffic (dev and users) to the new incubator lists; in this way the ASF
guys will have a chance to see how things are moving in the OFBiz
community; I know that there are some issues migrating the archives...
but maybe we can do this at a later time (?)

Yes, even if progress isn't fast (and there is no need for it to be),
I'd like it to be steady so we don't lose momentum.
